The aerial plant arts contain 4-10% condensed tannins, which can account for its astringent properties.   • Wormwood This herb has been researched for it’s ability to support healthy flora on the skin (Juteau, F., Jerkovic, I., Masotti, V., Milos, M., Mastelic, J., Bessiere, J.   • Neem (Azadirachta indica) Neem is thought to have originated in Assam in northeast India, and Myanmar, where it is common throughout the central dry zone. I has been researched for its ability to discourage pests (Sharma, S. K., Dua, V. K., and Sharma, V. P. “Field studies on the mosquito repellent action of neem oil”.   • Lemongrass (Cymbopogon spp.) Lemongrass has been found to contain up to 75-85% citral components. It has been studied for its ability to support cleansing (El Kamali, H. H., Hamza, M.
